If you can’t already tell from reviewing the page, my heart is in Murfreesboro. I was born in Paris, TN, but have lived in the Boro for 30 years. Owning an older home rich in history, I wanted to pay homage to the city I call home. Throughout the home, there are little touches of Murfreesboro.

I know, I know, the glare is horrible. The light is very bright in the living room, so it’s hard to capture the beauty of this photographs. L-R is the NHC/Regions “skyscraper”, the courthouse copula, and Oakland’s Mansion. I purchased these prints from Malcolm MacGregor Photography and couldn’t be happier. They were framed at Hobby Lobby.

In the living room, you’ll also find C.B. Arnette’s books Wheels, Deals & Bridges, From Mink Slide to Main Street, and Those East Main Street People and Their Homes. The coasters you see are from The Country Gourmet on the square.
In the kitchen, there are drone photos of the house and the square taken by Jason Ayers. It’s always really cool to see Murfreesboro from different vantage points.
Murfreesboro means a lot to me and I’ll look to continue adding to the collection of Murfreesboro memorabilia.
